This was my first color from this company, it was just the bold statement that I needed. The color was so vibrant after I bleached my hair and made everything else this wine color (I have brown hair). I have short hair about shoulder length, and I should have bought two bottles, the dye is pretty thick and if you’re inexperienced with hair dye, it’s better to be safe.

This is THE red hair color you’ve been looking for. The dye is super creamy and goes on thick, so I recommend getting 2 tubes or more if you have longer hair. Mine just reaches past my chest and I need 2 bottles. It’s pricier than other dyes, but it’s soooooo worth it. I don’t mind paying more for an amazing product.

Rock Lobster was my first dye from Good Dye Young. I first used it over my brown hair in March 2017, and it was amazing! In May of 2017 I bleached my hair and dyed it red with this color, and I was NOT disappointed! Not only does it look amazing, it smells amazing too! Huge recommend for red hair dye.

I got two tubes of Rock Lobster in the first shipment and was absolutely amazed with how wonderful and vibrant it turned out. My hair was dyed a medium auburn, and after years of trying to get my light brown hair the perfect red this finally did the trick! The quality and packaging are great, it smells fantastic and made my hair feel wonderful afterwords (the fact that it’s cruelty free and created by amazing people was also a strong selling point). It stayed in my hair a good two months before loosing any of its vibrancy, and I keep repurchasing even though it’s a little pricy to get in Canada – it’s just that good. Definitely would recommend trying it out.

I added a couple drops of blue ruin and used it on my mom. It made a darker red which she wanted. She wasn’t expecting it to fade and show the blue/green tint. But I was expecting it and I think it is great I basically gave my mom green hair. She doesn’t trust me to dye her hair anymore but I’d say it was worth it!
